Project: Sydney Metro West - (TSMO) Trains, Systems, Maintenance and Operations Project owner: METRO TRAINS WEST PTY LTD Location: NSW Australia Work package status: Open Scope: Full Scope Work package description: Metro Trains West (MTW) is seeking Expressions of Interest from reputable plant hire companies for the provision of construction plant and equipment. This package covers the rental of machinery required for earthworks, structural construction, and rail corridor activities. MTW intends to establish a panel of preferred suppliers to provide equipment on both Dry Hire (equipment only) and Wet Hire (equipment with a qualified operator) basis, ensuring maximum flexibility for our site delivery teams. The scope includes the supply, maintenance, and mobilization of a modern, compliant fleet including, but not limited to: Earthmoving Equipment Access Equipment Material Handling Compaction Equipment Site Support Equipment Specialised Rail Plant Project overview: The Metro Trains West Consortium,a joint venture led by MTR Corporation with CRRC Corporation Limited, was awarded the Train, Systems, maintenance and Operations contract for the Sydney Metro West project.The contract will deliver 16 driverless metro trains and tunnel fit out as well as provision of operations and maintenance services for a 15-year period upon the opening of the line.The TSMO Package includes the following scope:Design, supply, integrate, test and commission the rolling stock, signalling, communications and control systems and platform screen doors, to deliver driverless, automated train operations, as well as equipment works at specified facilities, including the operations control centre;Provision of operational input and services during the delivery phase including in relation to design review activities, rail accreditation, the distribution network service provider role, testing and commissioning, operational readiness and trial operations; andProvision of customer and operational services and the maintenance of all infrastructure delivered for the project for the duration of the operations phase.ICN Gateway Company RegistrationYour ICN Gateway company profile and any registrations of interest you submit are used to assess your organisation's ability to complete projects.Click here to create a new company profile or to login to your existing company profile.
