ποΈ Project Overview: The Wave (Rail) Stage 1 Brownfield Package The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), in partnership with the Beerwah Coast Connect Alliance (Laing O'Rourke, Hatch, and Georgiou), is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for the Heritage Monitoring work package associated with the Stage 1 Brownfield Package of 'The Wave' rail project in Queensland, Australia. π Scope of Work 'The Wave' is a major infrastructure initiative delivering a new passenger rail line and metro-style service connecting Sunshine Coast communities, including Beerwah, Caloundra, Birtinya, and Maroochydore. The Stage 1 Brownfield Package involves extensive rail, station, and infrastructure upgrades, including: Station Upgrades: Modernization of Beerwah Station, including new platforms, vertical access, and accessibility compliance. Track & Rail Infrastructure: Modification of existing tracks, new freight holding roads, and the construction of a grade-separated rail junction. Precinct & Ancillary Works: Road realignments, active transport links, bus interchanges, utility relocations, and comprehensive landscaping. Heritage Monitoring: Specialized services to ensure compliance with heritage requirements during construction activities. π Requirements for Bidders Registration: Suppliers must register via the ICN Gateway and the Beerwah Coast Connect Felix Enterprise Marketplace Platform. Compliance: Contractors must demonstrate capability in large-scale civil and rail infrastructure projects.
