๐Ÿ—๏ธ Project Overview: The Wave (Rail) Stage 1 Brownfield Package The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), in partnership with the Beerwah Coast Connect Alliance (Laing O'Rourke, Hatch, and Georgiou), is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for the Site Survey work package associated with the Stage 1 Brownfield Package of 'The Wave' rail project in Queensland, Australia. ๐Ÿ“‹ Scope of Work This project involves critical upgrades and new infrastructure to integrate the new passenger rail line with the existing North Coast Line. Key components include: Rail & Station Upgrades: Modernizing Beerwah Station to meet Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) standards, including new platforms, vertical access, and enhanced station facilities. Track & Infrastructure: Modification of approximately 4km of existing track, construction of a new grade-separated rail junction, and a new stabling facility (Beerwah South Yard). Transport & Precinct Works: Upgrading road intersections, active transport links, bus interchanges, and park-and-ride facilities.
