ποΈ Project Overview: The Wave (Rail) Stage 1 Brownfield Package The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for Time Lapse Services as part of the major The Wave (Rail) Stage 1 Brownfield Package in Queensland, Australia. This critical infrastructure project is being delivered by the Beerwah Coast Connect Alliance (Laing O'Rourke, Hatch, and Georgiou). π Scope of Work The Wave project aims to deliver a new passenger rail line and metro-style service connecting Sunshine Coast communities, including Beerwah, Caloundra, Birtinya, and Maroochydore. The Stage 1 Brownfield Package involves extensive construction works, including: Rail & Station Upgrades: Modernization of Beerwah Station, including new platforms, vertical access, and accessibility compliance. Track Infrastructure: Modification of existing rail, new freight holding roads, and the implementation of the European Train Control System (ETCS) Level 2. New Infrastructure: Construction of a grade-separated rail junction and the Beerwah South Yard stabling facility. Precinct & Ancillary Works: Road realignments, active transport links, bus interchanges, utility relocations, and landscaping. π― Requirements for Bidders EOI Process: Interested trade contractors and suppliers must submit their EOI via the ICN Gateway.
