๐๏ธ Project Overview: The Wave (Rail) Stage 1 Brownfield Package The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), in partnership with the Beerwah Coast Connect Alliance (Laing O'Rourke, Hatch, and Georgiou), is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for Traffic Control services related to the Stage 1 Brownfield Package of 'The Wave' rail project in Queensland, Australia. ๐ Scope of Work This project involves significant infrastructure upgrades to the existing rail, station, and road networks in the Beerwah region. Key components include: Rail Infrastructure: Upgrades to Beerwah Station, including a new third platform, signalling replacements, and vertical access improvements. Track Works: Modification of approximately 4km of existing track, new freight holding roads, and integration with the North Coast Line. New Construction: Development of a grade-separated rail junction and the Beerwah South Yard stabling facility. Precinct & Road Works: Modifications to local roads, signalised intersections, bus interchanges, and active transport links. Ancillary Works: Public Utility Plant (PUP) relocation, drainage, earthworks, and landscaping. ๐ฏ Requirements for Bidders EOI Process: Interested trade contractors and suppliers must submit their EOI via the ICN Gateway.
