🏗️ Project Overview: The Wave (Rail) Stage 1 Brownfield Package The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), in partnership with the Beerwah Coast Connect Alliance (Laing O'Rourke, Hatch, and Georgiou), is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for Crane Hire and Plant and Equipment Hire services. This procurement is part of the critical Stage 1 Brownfield Package for 'The Wave' rail project in Queensland, Australia. 📋 Scope of Work This work package covers the provision of heavy machinery and equipment necessary to support extensive rail and infrastructure upgrades, including: Rail & Station Upgrades: Modernization of Beerwah Station, including new platforms, vertical access, and accessibility compliance. Track Infrastructure: Modification of existing rail, new freight holding roads, and the construction of a new grade-separated rail junction. Civil Works: Road realignments, bus interchange construction, drainage, earthworks, and utility relocations. Equipment Requirements: Suppliers must be capable of providing specialized cranes and heavy plant equipment suitable for complex brownfield rail construction environments. 🎯 Key Requirements for Bidders Registration: Interested parties must submit EOIs via the ICN Gateway.
