🏗️ Project Overview: The Wave (Rail) Stage 1 Brownfield Package The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), in partnership with the Beerwah Coast Connect Alliance (Laing O'Rourke, Hatch, and Georgiou), is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for demolition and associated works related to the Wave (Rail) Stage 1 Brownfield Package. This critical infrastructure project aims to deliver a new passenger rail line and metro-style service connecting Sunshine Coast communities, including Beerwah, Caloundra, Birtinya, and Maroochydore, with integration into the existing North Coast Line. 📋 Scope of Work & Requirements This work package covers a broad range of construction and infrastructure activities, including: Demolition and Site Preparation: Management of waste and contaminated materials, earthworks, and site clearing. Rail & Station Upgrades: Rebuilding Beerwah Station to meet Disability Discrimination Act 1992 standards, including new platforms, vertical access, and modern station facilities. Infrastructure Development: Construction of a new grade-separated rail junction, stabling facilities, and track modifications. Transport & Utilities: Road realignments, active transport links, bus interchanges, and Public Utility Plant (PUP) relocations. 🚀 Key Information for Bidders Location: Queensland, Australia.
