🏗️ Project Overview: The Wave (Rail) Stage 1 Brownfield Package The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for the supply of Quarry Products as part of the major infrastructure development, The Wave (Rail) Stage 1 Brownfield Package. This project is being delivered by the Beerwah Coast Connect Alliance (Laing O'Rourke, Hatch, and Georgiou) and is jointly funded by the Queensland and Australian Governments. 📋 Scope of Work & Requirements This work package involves the supply of essential quarry materials to support extensive rail, station, and road infrastructure upgrades. Key project components include: Rail Infrastructure: Construction of a new dual-track rail line, a new grade-separated rail junction, and a new stabling facility (Beerwah South Yard). Station Upgrades: Modernization of Beerwah Station, including a new third platform, vertical access, and improved accessibility features compliant with the Disability Discrimination Act 1992. Civil Works: Road realignments, drainage, earthworks, retaining structures, and utility relocations. Integration: Connection of the new passenger rail line to the existing North Coast Line, linking Sunshine Coast communities to Brisbane and beyond. 🎯 Key Information for Bidders Location: Sunshine Coast, QLD, Australia.
