๐Ÿ—๏ธ Project Overview: The Wave (Rail) Stage 1 Brownfield Package The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), in partnership with the Beerwah Coast Connect Alliance (Laing O'Rourke, Hatch, and Georgiou), is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for Waterproofing services related to the Stage 1 Brownfield Package of 'The Wave' rail project in Queensland, Australia. ๐Ÿ“‹ Scope of Work This project involves significant upgrades to existing rail, station, and road infrastructure to support the new passenger rail line connecting Beerwah to the Sunshine Coast Airport. Key infrastructure requirements include: Station Upgrades: Modernizing Beerwah Station to meet Disability Discrimination Act 1992 standards, including new platforms, vertical access, and enhanced facilities. Rail Infrastructure: Construction of a new grade-separated rail junction, track modifications, and a new stabling facility (Beerwah South Yard). Transport & Precinct Works: Integration of bus interchanges, active transport links, and road realignments.
