🏗️ Project Overview: The Wave (Rail) Stage 1 Brownfield Package The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), in partnership with the Beerwah Coast Connect Alliance (Laing O'Rourke, Hatch, and Georgiou), is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for Glazing (Facade) services related to the Stage 1 Brownfield Package of 'The Wave' rail project in Queensland, Australia. 📋 Scope of Work This project involves significant upgrades to rail, station, and road infrastructure to support the new passenger rail line connecting Beerwah to the Sunshine Coast. Key elements of the broader project include: Station Upgrades: Modernizing Beerwah Station to meet Disability Discrimination Act 1992 standards, including new platforms, vertical access, and upgraded facilities. Rail Infrastructure: Construction of a new grade-separated rail junction, track modifications, and a new stabling facility. Precinct Works: Development of bus interchanges, active transport links, and road realignments. Glazing Requirements: Specialized facade and glazing works are required to support the construction of new station facilities and associated infrastructure. 🚀 Key Requirements for Bidders Registration: Interested suppliers must submit EOIs via the ICN Gateway.
