ποΈ Project Overview: The Wave (Rail) Stage 1 Brownfield Package The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), in partnership with the Beerwah Coast Connect Alliance (Laing O'Rourke, Hatch, and Georgiou), is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for Architectural Metal Works (Facade and Balustrading). This opportunity is part of the landmark The Wave project, which aims to deliver a new passenger rail line connecting Sunshine Coast communities, including Beerwah, Caloundra, Birtinya, and Maroochydore. π Scope of Work & Requirements This work package covers the architectural metal works necessary for the upgrade and construction of rail and station infrastructure. Key project components include: Station Upgrades: Modernizing Beerwah Station to meet Disability Discrimination Act 1992 standards, including new platforms and vertical access. Infrastructure Integration: Construction of new rail junctions, stabling facilities, and track modifications. Precinct Development: Delivery of bus interchanges, active transport links, and urban realm landscaping. Technical Requirements: Successful bidders will be expected to manage facade and balustrading installations within a complex brownfield rail environment. π Location & Timeline Location: Beerwah and surrounding areas, Queensland, Australia.
