ποΈ Project Overview: The Wave (Rail) Stage 1 Brownfield Package The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for Soft and Hard Landscaping services as part of the major 'The Wave' rail infrastructure project in Queensland. This initiative is being delivered by the Beerwah Coast Connect Alliance (Laing O'Rourke, Hatch, and Georgiou) and focuses on critical upgrades to the existing rail, station, and road infrastructure in the Beerwah region. π Scope of Work & Requirements The successful contractor will be responsible for comprehensive landscaping and urban realm works within and surrounding the Beerwah station precinct. Key project components include: Infrastructure Integration: Supporting the delivery of a new passenger rail line connecting Beerwah to Birtinya. Station Upgrades: Enhancing accessibility at Beerwah Station, including new platforms, vertical access, and modern station facilities. Precinct Development: Landscaping works associated with new bus interchanges, active transport links, and park-and-ride facilities. Site Preparation: Coordination with broader civil works, including drainage, earthworks, and utility relocations. π Project Details Location: Beerwah, Queensland, Australia. Project Goal: To facilitate the Direct Sunshine Coast Line and improve connectivity between emerging population centers.
