Key components include: Rail & Station Upgrades: Modernization of Beerwah Station, including new platforms, vertical access, and accessibility compliance (DDA 1992). Track Infrastructure: Modification of approximately 4 km of existing track, new freight holding roads, and the construction of a grade-separated rail junction.
