๐๏ธ Project Overview: The Wave (Rail) Stage 1 Brownfield Package The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), in partnership with the Beerwah Coast Connect Alliance (Laing O'Rourke, Hatch, and Georgiou), is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the Road Profiling work package (Tender ID: icnwp142001) as part of the Stage 1 Brownfield Package for The Wave rail project in Queensland, Australia. ๐ Scope of Work This project involves significant infrastructure upgrades to support the new passenger rail line connecting Beerwah, Caloundra, Birtinya, Maroochydore, and the Sunshine Coast Airport. Key components of the broader project include: Rail & Station Upgrades: Modernization of Beerwah Station, including new platforms, vertical access, and ETCS Level 2 signalling. Track Works: Modification of existing rail infrastructure and construction of new freight holding roads. Road & Precinct Works: Road realignments, signalized intersection modifications, bus interchanges, and active transport links. Ancillary Works: Public Utility Plant (PUP) relocation, drainage, earthworks, and landscaping. ๐ฏ Requirements for Bidders Registration: Interested contractors must submit EOIs via the ICN Gateway and are encouraged to register on the Beerwah Coast Connect Felix - Enterprise Marketplace Platform.
