ποΈ Project Overview: The Wave (Rail) Stage 1 Brownfield Package The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for Joinery services (Tender ID: icnwp142002) as part of the significant The Wave (Rail) Stage 1 Brownfield Package. This project is being delivered by the Beerwah Coast Connect Alliance (Laing O'Rourke, Hatch, and Georgiou) and represents a major infrastructure investment in Queensland, Australia. π Scope of Work The Wave project aims to deliver a new passenger rail line and metro-style service connecting Sunshine Coast communities. The Stage 1 Brownfield Package focuses on: Station Upgrades: Modernizing Beerwah Station to meet Disability Discrimination Act 1992 standards, including new platforms, vertical access, and upgraded facilities. Rail Infrastructure: Modification of existing track, new freight holding roads, and the construction of a grade-separated rail junction. Precinct Works: Road modifications, active transport links, bus interchanges, and park-and-ride facilities.
