🏗️ Project Overview: The Wave (Rail) Stage 1 Brownfield Package The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), in partnership with the Beerwah Coast Connect Alliance (Laing O'Rourke, Hatch, and Georgiou), is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the Floor Finishes work package (Tender ID: icnwp142003). This project is a critical component of 'The Wave,' a major rail infrastructure initiative designed to connect Sunshine Coast communities, including Beerwah, Caloundra, Birtinya, and Maroochydore. 📋 Scope of Work This work package covers the supply and installation of floor finishes as part of the broader station and infrastructure upgrades. The project involves: Station Upgrades: Modernizing Beerwah Station to meet Disability Discrimination Act 1992 standards. Infrastructure Development: Construction of new platforms, vertical access points, and upgraded station facilities including ticketing, amenities, and lighting. Integration: Supporting the delivery of a 26km dual-track rail line and the implementation of the European Train Control System (ETCS Level 2). 🛠️ Requirements for Bidders Registration: Interested contractors must submit EOIs via the ICN Gateway.
