🏗️ Project Overview: The Wave (Rail) Stage 1 Brownfield Package The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), in partnership with the Beerwah Coast Connect Alliance (Laing O'Rourke, Hatch, and Georgiou), is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for the Epoxy Flooring work package (Tender ID: icnwp142011). This project is a critical component of the Direct Sunshine Coast Line, aimed at delivering a new passenger rail service connecting Beerwah, Caloundra, Birtinya, and Maroochydore. 📋 Scope of Work & Requirements This tender focuses on specialized flooring requirements within the broader infrastructure upgrade. The Stage 1 Brownfield Package involves extensive rail, station, and precinct works, including: Station Upgrades: Modernizing Beerwah Station to meet Disability Discrimination Act 1992 standards, including new platforms, vertical access, and upgraded facilities. Infrastructure Development: Construction of new rail junctions, stabling facilities, and track modifications. Precinct Integration: Development of bus interchanges, active transport links, and road realignments. 📍 Location & Delivery Location: Queensland, Australia (Beerwah and surrounding areas).
