☀️ PV Solar Supply and Install - The Wave (Rail) Stage 1 Opportunity Overview The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the PV Solar Supply and Install work package, part of the significant The Wave (Rail) Stage 1 Brownfield Package in Queensland, Australia. This project is being delivered by the Beerwah Coast Connect Alliance (Laing O'Rourke, Hatch, and Georgiou). Project Scope The Wave project aims to deliver a new passenger rail line connecting Sunshine Coast communities, including Beerwah, Caloundra, Birtinya, and Maroochydore. The Stage 1 Brownfield Package involves extensive infrastructure upgrades, including: Rail & Station Upgrades: Modernization of Beerwah Station, including new platforms, vertical access, and accessibility compliance. Track & Infrastructure: Modification of existing rail, new freight holding roads, and the construction of a new grade-separated rail junction. Precinct Works: Development of bus interchanges, active transport links, and park-and-ride facilities. Ancillary Works: Utilities relocation, drainage, earthworks, and landscaping.
