🏗️ Project Overview: The Wave (Rail) Stage 1 Brownfield Package The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), in partnership with the Beerwah Coast Connect Alliance (Laing O'Rourke, Hatch, and Georgiou), is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the Line Marking work package associated with the Stage 1 Brownfield Package of 'The Wave' rail project in Queensland, Australia. 📋 Scope of Work This project involves critical infrastructure upgrades to the existing North Coast Line, facilitating the development of a new passenger rail line connecting Beerwah, Caloundra, Birtinya, and Maroochydore. The scope includes: Rail & Station Upgrades: Modernization of Beerwah Station, including new platforms, accessibility improvements, and signaling upgrades. Infrastructure Development: Construction of a new grade-separated rail junction, stabling facilities, and track modifications. Road & Precinct Works: Modifications to existing road networks, signalized intersections, active transport links, and bus interchange facilities. Ancillary Works: Public utility relocations, drainage, earthworks, and landscaping. 🛠️ Requirements & Qualifications Interested trade contractors and suppliers must submit EOIs via the ICN Gateway. Suppliers are strongly encouraged to contact ICN to understand the EOI process. Registration on the Beerwah Coast Connect Felix - Enterprise Marketplace Platform is required. 📍 Location & Timeline Location: Beerwah and surrounding areas, QLD, Australia. Construction Commencement: Expected in 2027.
