ποΈ Project Overview: The Wave (Rail) Stage 1 Brownfield Package The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), in partnership with the Beerwah Coast Connect Alliance (Laing O'Rourke, Hatch, and Georgiou), is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for the Asphalt - Supply and Install work package (Tender ID: icnwp142045). This project is a critical component of 'The Wave,' a major infrastructure initiative designed to deliver a new passenger rail line and metro-style service connecting Sunshine Coast communities, including Beerwah, Caloundra, Birtinya, and Maroochydore. π Scope of Work & Requirements This work package focuses on the supply and installation of asphalt as part of the broader rail, station, and road infrastructure upgrades. Key project elements include: Rail Infrastructure: Upgrades to Beerwah Station, including new platforms, vertical access, and modern facilities. Track Works: Modifications to existing rail infrastructure and the construction of a new grade-separated rail junction. Road & Precinct Works: Modifications to existing roads, signalised intersections, bus interchanges, and active transport links. Ancillary Works: Drainage, earthworks, landscaping, and utility relocations. π Location & Timeline Location: Beerwah and surrounding areas, Queensland, Australia.
