ποΈ Project Overview: The Wave (Rail) Stage 1 Brownfield Package The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), in partnership with the Beerwah Coast Connect Alliance (Laing O'Rourke, Hatch, and Georgiou), is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the Concrete Kerbing work package (Tender ID: icnwp142046). This project is a critical component of 'The Wave', a major infrastructure initiative designed to deliver a new passenger rail line connecting Sunshine Coast communities, including Beerwah, Caloundra, Birtinya, and Maroochydore. π Scope of Work & Requirements This work package involves civil and infrastructure construction associated with the Stage 1 Brownfield Package. Key project elements include: Rail & Station Upgrades: Modernization of Beerwah Station, including new platforms, vertical access, and accessibility compliance. Track & Infrastructure: Modification of existing rail, new freight holding roads, and the construction of a grade-separated rail junction. Road & Precinct Works: Modifications to existing roads, signalized intersections, bus interchanges, and active transport links.
