This project is a critical component of 'The Wave,' a major infrastructure initiative designed to deliver a new passenger rail line and metro-style service connecting Sunshine Coast communities, including Beerwah, Caloundra, Birtinya, and Maroochydore. 📋 Scope of Work & Requirements This brownfield package involves extensive upgrades to existing rail, station, and road infrastructure. Key project elements include: Rail & Station Upgrades: Modernization of Beerwah Station, including new platforms, vertical access, and accessibility compliance (Disability Discrimination Act 1992). Infrastructure Development: Construction of a new grade-separated rail junction, a new stabling facility, and track modifications. Road & Precinct Works: Modifications to existing roads, signalized intersections, active transport links, and bus interchange facilities.
