ποΈ Project Overview: The Wave (Rail) Stage 1 Brownfield Package The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for FRP (Form, Reinforce, and Pour) Works as part of the significant 'The Wave' rail infrastructure project in Queensland, Australia. This project is being delivered by the Beerwah Coast Connect Alliance (Laing O'Rourke, Hatch, and Georgiou) and is jointly funded by the Queensland and Australian Governments. π Scope of Work This work package is critical to the delivery of the Stage 1 Brownfield Package, which focuses on upgrades and new construction for rail, station, and road infrastructure. Key project components include: Rail & Station Upgrades: Modernizing Beerwah Station to meet Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) standards, including new platforms, vertical access, and enhanced station facilities. Track & Infrastructure: Modification of existing track, construction of a new grade-separated rail junction, and development of the Beerwah South Yard stabling facility. Civil Works: Extensive earthworks, drainage, retaining structures, and utility relocations. Precinct Development: Road realignments, active transport links, and bus interchange facilities. π οΈ Requirements for Bidders Registration: Suppliers must register via the ICN Gateway and are encouraged to complete registration on the Beerwah Coast Connect Felix Enterprise Marketplace Platform. Capability: Contractors must demonstrate expertise in structural concrete works (FRP) within a complex brownfield rail environment.
