Summary and scope

The Industry Capability Network Victoria is playing a part and inviting businesses to join a growing movement to increase the participation of women in the construction industry and want to play an active role in making it a reality. Every business is different, and so is the way you can contribute. Some ways to support include: Hiring or creating pathways for women entering the trades Mentoring women who are building their careers in construction Sponsoring training programs or industry events Championing inclusive workplace cultures Partnering with us on initiatives that make a real difference on the ground Right now, women represent just a small fraction of the construction workforce. But together, we can change that. You don't need to have all the answers - just the willingness to start. If your business is interested in supporting women's participation in construction - in any way, big or small - we want to hear from you. We're calling on businesses across the construction industry and beyond to step forward and help us drive meaningful, lasting change. Whether you're a contractor, supplier, training provider, or industry partner, your support matters.
