Summary and scope

The Fox: NGV Contemporary will be the largest gallery dedicated to contemporary art and design in Australia. Once completed, it will comprise of an overall area of 30,000 square metres. Of this, more than 13,000 square metres will be dedicated display space for art and design, including exhibition galleries and an expansive rooftop terrace. The Fox: NGV Contemporary is being delivered by Development Victoria, the delivery agency on behalf of the Victorian Government, through Melbourne Arts Precinct Corporation (MAP Co), in partnership with the National Gallery of Victoria and Creative Victoria. Lendlease Construction (Southern) Pty Ltd has been engaged as Managing Contractor to deliver the construction works, with the project led by Nat Gray, Project Director, and Craig Franklin, Construction Director.
