Project: NPSCY (WP2) Project owner: Prime South Location: SA Australia Work package status: Open Scope: Full Scope Work package description: Materials Handling and Logistics Project overview: Prime South Partnering to support Australia's sovereign defence capability With a proven record in major Defence infrastructure delivery, robust governance systems and established security credentials, Prime South is preparing its response to the Request for Proposal for the Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard (NPSCY) Work Package 2 (WP2) for the Commonwealth. In March 2023, the Australian Government announced the Optimal Pathway for the acquisition of conventionally armed, nuclear-powered submarines under the AUKUS partnership. A critical element of this pathway is the development of the Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard (NPSCY) at Osborne, South Australia. Led by Australian Naval Infrastructure (ANI), the NPSCY represents a nationally significant program of works that will provide the specialised infrastructure required to support Australia's future nuclear-powered submarine capability over the long term. Prime South has mobilised an integrated Adelaide-based team and is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified organisations to support the development of its response to the NPSCY WP2 RFP. Why partner with Prime South?
