Project overview: Sitzler Pty Ltd has been engaged to deliver the Acacia Prison Expansion Project in Wooroloo, Perth Hills for the Western Australian Government. The project will deliver an additional 480 medium-security and multi-purpose beds across three accommodation units, together with associated support services, industries facilities, security infrastructure, external works and integration with the existing Acacia Prison facility. Relevant businesses identified through the EOI process may be invited to participate in subsequent competitive tender processes, subject to capability, capacity, experience, safety, quality, commercial and project-specific requirements. Sitzler may combine, separate or restructure procurement packagesas the design and procurement strategy develops to achieve efficient project delivery, market competition and appropriate supply-chain participation. Sitzler particularly encourages participation from: Western Australian businesses SMEs Regional businesses (Perth Hills) Aboriginal businesses Local manufacturers and fabricators Businesses providing apprenticeships, traineeships and employment opportunities Where specialist products or equipment may traditionally be sourced interstate or overseas, Sitzler is also interested in identifying Western Australian and Australian alternatives, including opportunities for local manufacture, assembly, installation, commissioning, logistics, maintenance and ongoing support.
