🌊 Project Overview: Navigator North Offshore Wind Project The Navigator North Offshore Wind Project is a major renewable energy initiative led by Origin Energy Wind North Pty Ltd (a subsidiary of Origin Energy Ltd) in partnership with the RES Group. The project aims to develop a 1.5GW offshore wind farm located within the Gippsland Offshore Wind Zone in Victoria, Australia. 🏗️ Scope and Requirements This tender represents a general expression of interest (EOI) for potential suppliers and contractors. The project encompasses a comprehensive range of activities, including: Infrastructure Development: Fixed offshore wind turbines, offshore substations, subsea connections, export cables, and onshore facilities. Technical Assessments: Extensive Environmental Impact Statements (EIS), engineering assessments, LiDar, Metocean studies, terrestrial flora and fauna surveys, marine environmental surveys, and geotechnical/geophysical surveys. Project Lifecycle: The project spans an initial 5-year feasibility period, followed by construction and a 30-year operational phase. 🤝 Procurement and Participation Origin and RES are committed to maximizing local industry participation, collaborating with First Nations groups, and supporting local communities.
