Project overview: WOOMERA REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT (WRP) AT RAAF BASE WOOMERAThe Managing ContractorWoomera Redevelopment Joint Venture (WRJV) - comprising of CPB Contractors and Downer. Both CPB Contractors and Downer are listed on the Australian Securities Exchange.The ProjectThe WRP involves redevelopment works at the Woomera Range Complex in South Australia. The project is progressing through the design phase, with construction activities targeting to commence in January 2027 and complete in May 2034, subject to Departmental, Government, and Parliamentary Approvals. The total project value is approximately $500m and has been divided into approximately 100 Design & Trade Packages which include builders works, civil / hydraulics works, building structures, inground and building services works, and associated supporting trades. Project work elements include:Remedial works and upgrades to infrastructure services including sewer, water and fire.New HV and LV supplies and networks.Construction of new buildings.Construction of new roads and hardstands.The indicative program milestones are:November 2026 - Delivery Phase Approval - inclusive of all Departmental, Government and Parliamentary Approvals.January 2027 - Approach to Market - Request for Tender2027 Q2 & Q3 - Trade & Supply Package Contract Award2034 Q2- Completion of the last Stage of WorksProject Progress & Market Opportunities The project is currently working towards 50% Schematic Design Review and developing the procurement model and cost estimate. Accordingly, the WRJV invites all suitably qualified contractors and suppliers to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for one or more of the associated Trade Packages.To submit an EOI, please register interest against the relevant package below Secondly, please click on the Felix link below to complete the quick registration process. The WRJV will approach market providers to register in 2 stages simultaneously via the 2 electronic mediums/enterprises of ICN and Felix.Felix Registration Click HerePost EOI activities: Interested parties will subsequently be invited into the following two (2) stages:Stage 1: Participate in a market sounding exercise for the respective works to inform project cost estimates and support development of the packaging strategy to maximise local industry participation. The WRJV encourages involvement as this will automatically qualify your company's participation within Stage 2. Potential tenderers that choose not to participate in this market sounding process will not be prevented from or disadvantaged in participating in the subsequent request for tender (RFT) process, if any.Stage 2: An invitation to tender on the finalised work packages will be formally issued after the project enters the Delivery Phase through Felix. The Felix platform administers the projects formal tender packages for market provider opportunities, in progression of actual package award for the particular scope delivery.
