Summary and scope
Iberdrola Australia has recently been awarded one of twelve offshore wind feasibility licences for the Gippsland Offshore Wind Zone. This 3GW feasibility licence is for our "Aurora Green" offshore wind project. Operating in Australia for over twenty years as leading renewable energy entity Infigen Energy, the company joined the Iberdrola global group in 2020 and is a vertically integrated renewable energy generator. Our Australian generation portfolio is more than 95% renewable and includes onshore wind farms, solar farms, grid scale batteries and fast-start gas peakers. Today we are investing in new capabilities in networks, green hydrogen, and offshore wind.
