Project: Goulburn River Solar Farm Project owner: DT INFRASTRUCTURE PTY LTD Location: NSW Australia Work package status: Closed Scope: Full Scope Work package description: The supply of wet hire plant for the project including small tools, equipment, plant, access, power etc. Project overview: The Goulburn River project consists of a 585 MWp solar farm and battery energy storage system (BESS), located between Wollar and Merriwa, on Wollara Road, in the Upper Hunter Region of NSW. Lightsource bp will construct and operate the project and deliver solar renewable energy to Australia's grid.The project includes a battery to shift renewable energy to night-time peaks and support the reliable operation of Australia's grid. The project will also include operation and maintenance buildings, a temporary onsite workers accommodation camp, and electrical infrastructure required to connect to the existing electricity network. The project received NSW Development Consent in August 2024 and approval under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 in October 2024.DT Infrastructure has been selected as the EPC contractor to deliver the solar farm component of the project.
