Kings Canyon - Construct 2 x 1ML Water Tanks

Summary and scope

Power and Water Corporation is undertaking a tank replacement project at Kings Canyon to address the deteriorating condition of the existing potable water storage infrastructure. The two ground-level bulk storage tanks currently in service have reached the end of their operational life and are no longer suitable for long-term use. To ensure the ongoing delivery of safe and reliable water to the community, new tanks are required. This procurement is being progressed to engage a suitably qualified contractor to design, supply, and construct two new 1 ML glass-fused steel potable water tanks and associated works. The project will be delivered while the existing tanks remain in operation, with all works to comply with applicable standards for potable water storage, structural integrity, and workplace health and safety.
