## 🛰️ NSW Remote Sensing Services and Equipment Prequalification Scheme (SCM5841)
The NSW Department of Customer Service manages this ongoing Prequalification Scheme (SCM5841) for the acquisition, processing, and supply of spatial data and remote sensing services across NSW Government Agencies and state-owned corporations. The scheme is open for supplier intake until March 31, 2028.
### 📋 Scope and Requirements
This scheme covers three main categories: Remote Sensing Data Capture and Supply (Schedule A, including Satellite, Airborne/RPAS, LiDAR, Radar, and Terrestrial capture), Remote Sensing Professional Services and Spatial Data Products (Schedule B), and Remote Sensing Hardware and Software (Schedule C, covering RPAS, sensors, cameras, and specialist software).
Procurements are categorized as Low Risk (contracts under $150k) or High Risk (contracts over $150k or deemed high risk). **Crucially, procurements over $680k cannot be conducted through this scheme.** Suppliers must adhere to the NSW Procurement Policy Framework (2022) and use the supplied standard agreement, ensuring licensing allows for Whole of Government use.
### ✅ Application Criteria
Prospective suppliers must demonstrate capacity and capability across nominated categories, provide proof of relevant insurances (Public/Product Liability, Workers Compensation), and submit satisfactory referee reports (3 for Advanced, 1-3 for Registered). Applications are assessed over two to three weeks. Key deliverables include providing project information for procurements outside the scheme (cost, location, agency details).
