T807/18 Supply and Installation of Traffic Control Signals at Gannons Rd and Denman Ave, Caringbah

Summary and scope

ABOUT COUNCIL Sutherland Shire Council administers an area of 370 sq km on behalf of approximately 225,000 residents and ratepayers. It is the second largest Local Government in NSW and one of the biggest in Australia in terms of the number of people it serves. Sutherland Shire Council regularly contracts for the purchase or supply of a wide range of goods and services to pursue its commitment to efficiently deliver services with regard to the environment and to meet the needs of the community. SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS Council is seeking suitably qualified and experienced organisations for the provision of traffic control signal alterations at the intersection of Gannons Road and Denman Avenue, Caringbah. The Contractor must be from the prequalified contractors with RMS under the prequalification scheme for Traffic Signal Contractors at category TS02, TS1 or TSX (Full). Contractors under “Provisional” prequalification are not eligible to submit a tender for this contract as it is not new construction works. Council’s Civil Operations Unit will be undertaking all other civil works for this project. A detailed Client Brief and specification of the extent of services required by Council is set out in Part 5 of this Tender document. CLOSING TIME The Closing Time for this RFT is at 2.00pm on Tuesday 30 April 2019. Late submissions will not be considered.
