Summary and scope

1.2. Summary of the Request Council (the Principal) is seeking Tenders from appropriately qualified and experienced Tenderers for the procurement of Replacement of approximately 2.4km of DN150 AC mains with DN200 PVC PN12 reticulation main with service connections to approximately 62 premises in Moree township in 2019/2020 capital works programme. Replacement of approximately 0.511km of DN100 AC mains with DN150 PVC PN12 reticulation main with service connections to approximately 16 premises in Moree township in 2019/2020 capital works programme. Replacement of approximately 0.833km of DN100 AC mains with DN100 PVC PN12 reticulation main with service connections to approximately 17 premises in Moree township in 2019/2020 capital works programme. Minimum 3.5 km of water main replacement or 3.5km new water main construction works in financial year 2020/2021. If the principal decides to extend the contract for another 12 months 2021/2022 another 3.5km of water main replacement or 3.5km new water main construction works in financial year 2021/2022. Works will be carried out as part of Council’s 2019/20, 2020/2021 Capital Works Programme The Principal will supply the Pipes, valves, hydrants, fittings water meter etc. associated with the project It is the intention of the Principal that any contract resulting from this RFT shall be for a period of two years at the Principal’s choice to extend for a further twelve months for a total contract term not exceeding three years.
