Summary and scope
Council is going to engage a supplier for supply and delivery of type 2.2 gravel for the two following projects: • Poison Creek Road – Upgrade to Seal CH2.8 to CH6.2 • Oakey Creek Road – Upgrade to Seal CH 0.0 to CH 1.25 Poison Creek roadworks will require approximately 18,500 tons type 2.2 gravel which will be placed as base and subbase (each layer 125mm) within 3,420m length of the road. Oakey Creek roadworks will require 6,700tonnes type2 gravel which will be placed as base and subbase (each layer 125mm) within 1,250m length of the road. Poison Creek construction will commence mid-November and complete in four to five weeks. Oakey Creek construction will commence mid-January and complete in two to three weeks. The supplier shall supply and deliver the gravel compliant with MRST05 technical specifications as further detailed attached.
