Summary and scope
Sutherland Shire Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced organisation for the design finalisation and construction of the Sutherland Entertainment Centre (SEC) Major Refurbishment. The project includes the finalisation of the detailed design, novation of the Lead Design Consultant and their team of sub-consultants from Council to the Building Contractor and construction of the major refurbishment. Attached to this EOI is the latest design images and plans. The successful Contractor will be required to obtain the necessary authority approvals including building approvals. The development has been deemed state significant, development approval from the consent authority is anticipated prior to awarding the construction contract. The estimated GFA of the new SEC is 4,500sqm. Council has endorsed a budget of approximately $26M for the demolition and construction of a new SEC.
