SSROC T2020-02 Pest Control Services

Summary and scope

SSROC in conjunction with participating Councils are seeking Tenders from suitably qualified suppliers for carrying out Pest Control Services in accordance with this Request for Tender (RFT) that can provide the range of products and services that meet Participating Council’s needs as stated below and in Part 2– Specifications. The scope of work for the provision of pest control services includes, but is not limited to the following general activities: • Eradication and control of cockroaches, ants, fleas, silverfish, bees, wasps, spiders and other insect pests by application of approved insecticides suitable for areas of human habitation; • Rodent control through the use of approved rodent baits and traps; • Trapping, removal and relocation of possums. • Installation and maintenance of bird deterrent devices as required and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure BIR002 Trapping of Pest Birds prepared by NSW Department of Primary Industries; • Annual (or agreed frequency) termite inspection, eradication, prevention and certification – Council buildings and trees on Council land; and • Supply of all materials, products and chemicals required to deliver the service and routine maintenance. Respondents may tender for one or more service categories and the contract may be awarded to one or more suppliers for each category. Councils that are Participating in this Tender (to be known as the “Participating Councils”) are: Bayside Council City of Canada Bay Georges River Council Sutherland Shire Council Woollahra Municipal Council Note: Some of our member councils may have existing contracts in place and their participation date may be later than the contract standing offer commencement date. Some of the participating councils may have to transition their contracts to this new agreement.
