Summary and scope
Kyogle Council is seeking to form a panel of local suppliers for Solar PV installation services. If this is your company and you are interested in providing these services to Kyogle Council, please register your company for this panel here: https://www.vendorpanel.com.au/vsi.axd?g=aad1dd3e7224421b964c531c4be3e58es5438 The aim of this tender is to compile a list of “Pre-Approved Providers” offering these services at a fixed price for the stated period. The term of the contract is for a period of one year, with the option to extend a further two by one-year extensions, subject to satisfactory performance at Council’s discretion. During the contract period/s, as works are required by Council, contractors from the approved list (Panel) will be contacted and provided the project details, and asked about availability. Local contractors to the area will be given preference. The contract is a schedule of rates contract and not subject to rise and fall during the first contract term. A CPI increase will be allowed in the following two by one-year options. The schedules of rates submitted by tenderers are to be default rates to be used under this contract. Council may, at its discretion, engage an individual contractor for a particular project using the default rates, or request quotes from various suppliers. Council is under no obligation to exclusively contract with those providers on the Approved Providers list and Council does not guarantee any minimum quantity of work to the providers on the Approved Providers list. Council may obtain prices from any or all of the providers on the Approved Providers list for specific projects. It should be noted where availability is a critical issue and the successful tenderer is unable to undertake specific works within a stated timetable, Council reserves the right to engage other tenders as required from the Panel. Default contract rates submitted by tenderers are to exclude all applicable rebates available.
