T 895/20 Arboriculture Services and Ancillary Works

Summary and scope

Council is seeking suitably qualified and experienced organisations for the provision of Arboriculture Services and Ancillary Works. The scope of work will comprises predominately of Reactive Works generated from approximately six thousand (6,500) customer requests per annum. The contractor will perform arboriculture maintenance and other associated activities on our tree assets located throughout the Sutherland Shire. Work requests can either be a planned program of maintenance work, or a reactive response, including emergency or urgent call out 24 hour, 7 days per week basis, including public holidays. A detailed project brief / specification of the extent of services required by Council is set out in the attached "Part 5 of RFT document". Following the acceptance of a Tender, Council will enter into a Preferred Supplier Agreement (PSA) with the Successful Tenderer/s. The Preferred Supplier Agreement will be for a period of three (3) years, with an option for a further twelve (12) month plus twelve (12) month extension, at Council’s sole discretion.
