In order to finance this acquisition, Council is inviting tenders for the supply of finance leasing, on a sale and leaseback arrangement. The lease sought is a Finance Lease. Council is desirous of obtaining title to the goods at the end of the lease and Council makes the reasonable assumption that normal commercial practice will apply whereby ownership of the asset will be transferred from the lessor to Council at the end of the lease term.
