Summary and scope

SSROC invites Proposals from suitable providers for the provision of digital communications and marketing production assets to support Member Councils in waste education. Over the last five years, SSROC’s Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery (WARR) Education Program and resource recovery team has delivered a range of community engagement activities, as well as marketing and communications campaigns on behalf of its Member Councils. All of these activities and campaigns have provided Member Councils with ways to broaden their reach to reduce kerbside recycling contamination and improve responsible citizenship in the community through changed behaviours that align with the waste hierarchy, which are to avoid, reduce, reuse and recycle. It is more important than ever for councils to retain and build confidence in the community’s role in source separation and correct recycling. There are two separate projects and associated assets to be delivered in this scope: A. WARR digital assets B. Paving the Way marketing SSROC seeks to engage a suitable communications agency that will a. Develop a suite of effective digital communications assets that Member Councils can distribute on their own communication channels (website, Facebook, Instagram, e-news, etc.) b. Provide guidance on best practice distribution, monitoring and evaluation of these assets for councils.
