Summary and scope
Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced organisation for the provision of a renewal/upgrade of the existing, original HVAC mechanical system, Waterproofing works and associated building works at the Sutherland Library Building at 30-36 Belmont Street, Sutherland. The purpose of this upgrade is to remediate current heating/cooling issues experienced within the library areas of the building complex to ensure efficient operation that will be reliable and meet the high operational expectations of Sutherland Shire Council. Additionally, replacement of existing waterproofing to the rooftop plant area where the cooling tower and other items are located above the common areas of the residential part of the building. The building is part of a commercial/residential complex and will be operational during these works so considerable planning is required to prevent or at least to reduce as much as possible any undue noise and dust/dirt generation. A detailed project brief / specification of the extent of services required by Council is set out in Section 5 of this Tender document.
