Summary and scope
TRC as part of their 20/21 Road Rehabilitation Program are intending to upgrade John Street, Crows Nest to an 8.0m sealed width (invert to invert) that includes new kerb and channel to both sides of the road. John Street is approx. 260m in length, starting from the New England Highway and extends to Grace Street in the town of Crows Nest. The scope of works for this contract includes pavement reconstruction, removal and installation of new stormwater gully pits, new kerb and channel, installation of enveloper pipes for future water service upgrades, bitumen sealing, linemarking and reinstating driveways. Delivery of the Contract will be a Schedule of Rates contract awarded through and open-tender process. A design issued for tender for the above work has been finalised and is to be referred to for full scope of works. This Request for Offer is for the road rehabilitation of John Street, Crows Nest and associated works.
