Summary and scope

INTRODUCTION The Opportunity Bounded by the Great Barrier Reef to the east and sandstone wilderness in the west, Livingstone Shire is located within the Fitzroy Region of Central Queensland and covers 11,800 square kilometres on the Capricorn Coast. The major urban townships of Yeppoon and Emu Park are where the majority of the population reside, our beautiful rural areas include Byfield, Cawarral, The Caves, Stanage, Marlborough, Glenlee and Glendale. Council Services a population of 36,000. Our major industries include retail, tourism, education and training, health care and social assistance, construction and agriculture. The project scope includes the provision of competent, certified roadworks construction companies to undertake the access road and related earthworks for Livingstone Shire Council within the terms and conditions of the Contract. Objective Livingstone Shire Council is seeking responses to this Invitation to Tender for Emu Park West Reservoir Access Road Tender No.2021.008 as per 2021.008 – Technical Specification contained as an appendix to this tender, The purpose of this ITT process is to assess the ability of Tenderers to complete the Works in accordance with all relevant Australian Standards.
