Call for Expressions of Interest: Walcha Off Creek Storage 1 - Package 1 (Embankment and Spillway)

Summary and scope

The Walcha Off Creek Storage 1 (OCS1) project will provide a new off creek storage for use as an additional water source for the town of Walcha during periods of low flow in the Macdonald River. Key design details for the off creek storage: Earthfill dam with chimney filter drain Height 17 m Crest length 356 m Crest width 4 m This Call for EOI pertains to Package 1 (embankment and spillway construction) only, which constitutes the majority of the works in the project. The purpose of this Call for EOI is to invite Expressions of Interest from suitably experienced Applicants with a view to establish a shortlist of pre-qualified Tenderers who will be invited to submit tenders for the construction of the Package 1 works (described further in the attached documents). A non-compulsory site inspection and project briefing will be held on Wednesday 3 November 2021. The project briefing will commence at 11:00 am at Walcha Council Offices, 2W Hamilton Street, Walcha. Applicants who wish to attend the Walcha Off Creek Storage site inspection and briefing are asked to submit details of the names and company of people attending to Hunter H2O (via Tenders@hunterh2o.com.au) by Monday 1 November 2021.
