Summary and scope
The Tender shall comprise of works associated with the supply and delivery of sand material for use as the base for road construction works as specified. The sand material shall be supplied in accordance with the standards and rates specified in this Part. Contractors will be required to tender rates for the following service: (a) Supply and Load only from the Contractors/Suppliers quarry. (b) Supply and delivery to the Shire of Murray as per Schedule of Prices part 3.4. (c) Back load and disposal of topsoil & vegetation debris The estimated tonnage of materials for the project are: • 50,000 tonnes of Sand • 5,000 to 10,000 tonnes of Topsoil/Vegetation Debris
