Road Construction Plant with Operators

Summary and scope

The Shire of Halls Creek seeks to contract a suitably qualified and experienced Civil Works Contractor for the provision of road construction plant, machinery and equipment with skilled, competent and licensed operators for the construction of various road works within the Shire of Halls Creek local government area. The works shall typically comprise of unsealed road construction, reconstruction, upgrades, maintenance and/or repairs; sealed road construction, reconstruction, upgrades, maintenance and/or repairs; and construction, repairs, maintenance and/or upgrades to road drainage assets and other general road assets. The intended term of the contract is 12 calendar months commencing 1 April 2022 and with two (2) 12-month options to extend the term of the contract at the discretion of the Shire of Halls Creek. The estimated value of works for the initial term is $1.5 to $2.5 million, however the Shire of Halls Creek does not guarantee a minimum or maximum value of works over the duration of the contract term.
