Chelmsford Place Town Square Redevelopment

Summary and scope

Leeton Shire Council (Council) has been successful in securing from the NSW Government, State funds to redevelop the Town Square and beautify the focal point of Leeton NSW. The landscape works within this project requires a Landscape / Civil Contractor that can deliver a superior level of quality across an array of landscape and other trade disciplines. The scope of work consists of but is not necessarily limited to the following: • Preliminaries: Investigation of underground services, setting out, traffic management. • Earthworks: Tree protection, protection of infrastructure, clearing and grubbing of trees, demolition, excavation and filling, subgrade preparation. • Concrete work: Standard concrete paving and edging, paving with granite paving trim and tactile indicator pavers, and walls and steps. • Steel work: Dethridge wheel, portals, balustrade, projector poles, interpretive signs. • Dry Fountain and Rill: Hydraulics, grading, plumbing and surface finish. • Lighting: Refurbished lamp poles and Lighting Design Package. • Custom furniture: Seating and tables. • Soft Landscape Works: Garden beds, shrub planting, tree planting, grassing. • Art features: Artist Package. The whole of the works shall include the supply of all labour, tools, and materials.
