Summary and scope
This project seeks to replace the current ‘best of breed’ Waste and Fleet solution with a ‘best of suite’ solution; a Waste Software Management and Customer Service Booking system integrated with a GPS and Telematics system which will enhance customer experience, employee experience, safety and compliance and produce operational efficiencies. The primary purpose of this project is to test the market achieve Council specific operational and compliance monitoring needs whilst having the added platform capability for the seamless integration with other vehicle connected systems.to create an integrated technology solution that will not only enhance the safety, compliance, monitoring capability, but will deliver monitoring capabilities and operational efficiencies for both the Fleet and Waste Services business units. Business requirements were documented in the form of a ‘Business Requirements Document’ (BRD) in collaboration with the IM&T and Fleet and Waste Services management teams. The BRD helps to provide a clear expectation as to what the scope is for this project.
